HON - Honiley VOR/DME 2nd Apr 2003 Head North on the A4177 from Warwick. The HON VOR is in a field behind the Holly Farm Business Park. You won't be able to see it from the road. I accessed by driving right to the back of the business park. (Actually - it took me two visits to work out how to get to it!) Right next to the beacon is the ProDrive Proving Ground. I believe this was the site of the old Honiley Airfield. (Click on the small images for the bigger originals) |
